PBK-REDi has extensive experience working with school boards and district leadership teams to create policies and practices that accelerate the operations and behavior of district staff. PBK-REDi recognizes that the School Board sets policy which creates “guidelines and permissions to all staff in school district.

PBK-REDi works closely with school districts to examine safety and security policies and related implementation and training set forth by the board, in order to inform them with researched model board policies in these areas.

PBK-REDi surveys all staff and school community members regarding their confidence, understanding and ownership of the safety and security policies in place.

PBK-REDi facilitates multiple town hall meetings to discuss policies, priorities and concerns regarding safety and security. Town Hall meetings involve school board members, community members, district employees and local law enforcement personnel.

PBK-REDi strongly believes that the beginning of effective safety and security for students and staff begins with policy, strategic implementation of regulations to enforce such policy, communication with parents and community and strategic preparation, training and practice of staff and students.
